The EXCITE Network has been funded through the Horizon 2020 programme of the European Union (EU), making the network part of a broader work programme to advance Europe’s scientific competitiveness.
‘The EXCITE Network allows users to visualise the internal structure of Earth materials with a resolution that the early pioneers Ernst Ruska and Wilhelm Conrad could only have dreamed about’
Research within the EXCITE Network will make multi-scale, multi-dimensional characterizations of Earth materials available to you. Your analyses will provide fundamental insights to your material, helping you to understand the bigger picture; alternatively, they may bring answers to applied scientific questions, leading to new technology, new resources, and more sustainable solutions.
