At the Helmholtz Institute Freiberg for Resource Technology (HIF), innovative technologies for a sustainable Circular Economy for minerals and metalliferous resources are developed to provide and use mineral and metal-bearing raw materials more efficiently and to recycle them in an environmentally friendly way. About EXCITE
The EXCITE Network unites 19 research institutes across 12 European and partner countries. From chemical analysis to crystallographic information, EXCITE has the tools to solve your research questions. These research institutes offer a range of techniques including Electron Microscopy, X-ray microscopy, Raman Spectroscopy, Atom Probe Tomography (APT), Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS), Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) and Nano-Secondary Ion Mass Spectroscopy (NanoSIMS). This ensures the exploration of both small and large samples at different resolutions.
